North America

  • US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (N. California), US West (Oregon), AWS GovCloud (US East), AWS GovCloud (US
    West), Canada (Central)

Many Oracle database workloads require high memory, storage and I/O bandwidth but can safely reduce the number of vCPUs without impacting application performance. Providing up to 768 GiB of memory and a 32:1 memory-to-vCPU ratio, the new configurations allow customers to right-size their workloads and save on compute and licensing costs.

Amazon RDS for Oracle is a fully managed commercial database that makes it easy to set up, operate, and scale Oracle deployments in the cloud. To get started, please visit the Amazon RDS User Guide.
